Cellular Identity
Reprogramming and
Cancer Reversal Therapy
We investigate how cellular identity is established, maintained, and can be reprogrammed, and how its dysregulation leads to cancer. Our goal is to develop conceptual frameworks and reduced mathematical models that guide strategies for reversing malignant states and restoring normal cellular identity.

Key Research Questions
1. Cellular Identity

How is cellular identitv
established and maintained,
and what mechanisms allow
its reprogramming?
2. Malignant Transformation
3. Reversal and Therapy

How does dysregulation of
cellular identity lead to cancer
initiation, progression, and
resistance to therapy?
What strategies can reprogran
malignant cells to restore normal identity, and what conditions enable stable, long-term reversion without relapse?
Research Approach

Regulatory Netwock Modeling
Develop reduced models of
gene regulatory networks,
epigenetic states, and cell-fate
dynamics.
Dynamical Systems Analysis
Investigate attractors, transition
barriers, and control strategies
for reprogramming malignant
states to normal cellular identity.
Therapeutic Strategy Development
Use conceptual and reduced
mathematical models to explore
reprogramming interventions
combination therapies, and
conditions for stable reversal.
Current Status and Collaboration

In the current phase, we are developing
a relational ontology and model prototypes
to generate stable structures.
